EN* 'Side Effects' tells the story of a dysfunctional family, ruled by a perverse mother who caresses and hits her children unpredictably. Her descendants, bewitched and damaged, wander through a dangerous empty space, waiting for her next fad. In Side Effects, time stands still; there is no past, no future in madness.

 

There is only the time of pain, hooked onto the edges of the soul like an incessant and corrosive wave. With this piece, the second production of his own company, Anton delivers his darkest work; he ventures into the condemned lands of a drifting soul, and draws the scathing portrait of a woman tortured by the terror of being abandoned....We are all "Mummy".
